I've been up since about 6:45. Lane needed a bottle and was wide awake and then Scarlett was up a few minutes after that. We've already done breakfast, diaper changes and playtime.
Since Rassie is home I am really hoping to get some thing accomplished today, inside and out. Dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, hopefully steam vaccing, bathrooms, bedrooms, garage, car and yard!
I have a long list! But my house is in much need of a deep cleaning! And when I clean out the garage and the storage room in the garage I will have plenty of "stuff" for a yard sale! Maybe I should have one next weekend to earn a little extra cash. Not that it would be like hitting the lottery or anything but these days every little bit helps!
On another note, Scarlett has been feeling better. No fever since last Thursday. Her nose is a little stuffy and boogery but no more snot pouring out. She's been asking everyday to go to the splash pad. I've taken her to the park twice instead. She really enjoyed it and I think I will try to squeeze that and a walk into our day too. I really want to make a few more trips to the splash pad with her though. Being that September starts tomorrow its only a matter of time before the splash pad shuts down for fall and winter.
Lane is doing good. Growing like a little weed. I need to step on the scale and weigh him. I'm sure he's passed the 10 lb mark! What a big baby I have. *smile* He seems to be more needy than Scarlett was. He really enjoys being held, almost too much! And every night he goes through a fussy period that I am starting to think is a slight touch of colic. BUT, the past 2 nights have been much better and not so fussy.
An update on my shoes post! I did find a pair of tennis / walking shoes. They feel great on my foot, except for the fact that they rub blisters on my heels! My mom said there is something called a heel shield. I'm going to check into that. I also think If I wear the shoes a little more they won't rub. I am really hoping so because they made my aching foot feel soooooo much better!
Well everyone, have a good Monday!
